The Venue: North Star House, Grass Valley CA
Michelle and Dustin’s North Star House wedding in Grass Valley CA was so beautiful! We love this venue, which recently went through some major renovations and came back on the scene as one of the top wedding venues in Nevada County. If you love all that Empire Mine has to offer for weddings, but didn’t get your date in the lottery, then I highly suggest checking out The North Star House. From a large sprawling lawn, to it’s rustic rock building, it kind of reminds me of a mini Empire Mine.
The Ceremony: Michelle and Dustin
Michelle looked absolutely stunning on her wedding day. Her and Dustin exchanged heartfelt vows under the pergola, then led into a fun, lively reception which ended in a 10 minute downpour at the end of the evening. When it rains on wedding day, Andy and I secretly get a little happy inside, because it means we can take our couples out and get some fun beautiful images in the rain. Luckily, it was at the end of the evening and everyone was able to take the dance party inside. Here are a few images from their day.
