Spring Engagement Session Photos, Grass Valley
We’ve been super busy over the past few weeks getting Spring engagement session photos with our couples. I wait all year for my favorite shooting field to bloom, and luckily this year we had tons of lilacs. When I first moved to Grass Valley 9 years ago, I arrived at the start of spring and instantly fell in love with this tiny town in Northern California. Back then, I’d never dream that it would grow in to one of the top destination wedding locations in California! Moving from the beach in Coronado where it always seemed like summer, I was ecstatic to feel the change of seasons, and have a sense of rhythm injected into my life.
The Engagement Session | Alex and Nora
I always love when our couples include their dogs in their wedding or engagement session. The truth is, I just can’t even imagine my own wedding without my little Sophie, and a family portrait just wouldn’t be complete without her. So I was happy to meet Bruce, our couples VERY well behaved dog, complete with bowtie and all! Alex and Nora were great sports as we led them through the tall grasses and weeds to our shooting location. Like most of our couples getting married in Grass Valley or Nevada City, they live out of the area, yet have a family tie to Gold Country. We’re looking forward to their wedding this September and their reception at the Foothills Event Center in Grass Valley, Ca. Here’s a peek at their session….
