The Wedding Ceremony | Stephanie and Eric:

They exchanged vows under the ancient towering oak tree at The Ridge Golf Club in Auburn, CA.  In my entire career, I have to say that Stephanie’s vows (which were about 5 pages long), were the most heartfelt, emotional, honest,  beautiful, and touching vows I’ve ever heard!   She was so authentically happy to marry her best friend, and as I looked around while she ready her vows to Eric, there was not a dry eye in the crowd.  Their wedding was more than a wedding, it was the creation of a family with Stephanie’s 3 beautiful children.  After they exchanged vows, the children gathered around to receive necklaces linking them together as a family.  For those of you who know me, ceremonies like this are close to my heart, since Andy and I will soon be tying the knot with my daughter Madyline by our side.

When I first met Stephanie, I instantly fell in love with her…  her eternal positive outlook, kind heart, and huge smile is infectious!  She amazingly planned her wedding while finishing nursing school and raising her 3 small children…. and every single time I saw her, she had that brilliant smile on her face.  Andy and I were so honored and happy to be part of their day.

The Venue | The Ridge Golf Club, Auburn CA:

We love photographing weddings at The Ridge Gold Club in Auburn CA.  Liz, the wedding coordinator at the golf club  is a dream to work with and helps wedding day run seamlessly.   The huge oak tree where ceremonies are held is breathtaking and offers the perfect backdrop for ceremonies ranging from 50 up to 300 guests.
