Empire Mine weddings are so beautiful in the spring when the gardens are in full bloom.  Late May and early June are my favorite months in the park, before the heat of summer sets in.  Even in the height of summer, the park stays much cooler than surrounding areas thanks to the lush greenery.  This means, on days when it’s 105 in town you can still get married in the park without fear of overheating.  If you’re planning to get married at this amazing venue,  be sure to check out our gallery of Empire Mine weddings highlight photos  HERE.

Empire Mine weddings happen after the park closes, so you’ll have complete privacy for your event.  However, your guests can arrive early with complimentary entry into the park to explore.  Andy and I are one of the few photography studios with permits to shoot inside the park for engagement and family sessions, so if you’d like to go explore just let us know!

The Two Room Inn in Nevada City, Ca is a favorite getting ready location for couples getting married at Empire Mine.

Color EVERYWHERE! Although the gardens are beautiful year round, they’re in full bloom for only a couple weeks every year.
