Squaw Creek Wedding

Squaw Creek is one of the most stunning locations for a Lake Tahoe wedding.    When Molly and Blake planned their January wedding,  they expected that it may be a snowy wedding.  Of course, Andy and I are always excited about photographing in the snow. Yet the day Molly and Blake got married the forecast went from snow to sleet and rain.  It wasn’t just any rain-  the rain was coming down sideways.  We’re always up for snow in Tahoe, but rain and sleet are things we just don’t expect during the winter.  As a result of the weather, the ceremony was moved indoors to the ballroom and the amazing team at  Squaw Valley Resort and Forget Me Knot Events quickly transformed it into an intimate candlelit ceremony site for the couple.
