Miner’s Foundry Wedding, Nevada City CA

The Miner’s Foundry is one of the many gems of Nevada City. The massive stone walls of this venue is so rich with gold rush history, and one of  our  favorite indoor wedding venues in Nevada County.  Andy and I loved spending the day with Andrew and Saskia at their destination wedding in Nevada City.  With family gathering in Nevada City from across the globe, their whole day was filled with HUGE laughter and smiles along with great conversations over amazing food.   Farm to Table catered their wedding and dinner was served Family Style which is my favorite way for wedding dinner to be served.   There’s just something special that happens when family and friends gather around a large table and share food without having to stand in line at a buffet.  Conversation deepens, friendships grow stronger, and  these kind of days are what makes me love my job.

Even though The Miner’s Foundry is an indoor venue, we always find beautiful spots to whisk our couples away to around Nevada City. 

Family Style dining at weddings is my favorite way to have a meal shared….. it always  reminds me of my favorite holiday Thanksgiving, were food is passed around the table over good and uninterrupted conversation.
