Hello my friends.
Ok, Thanks for bearing with me. I came back to the states in full force- editing weddings, editing photos from Guatemala, being with my family, scheduling weddings for next year….
It’s been a busy week I must say.
As soon as I returned I found out that 2 fellow photographer-friends had huge tragedies while I was gone….. Leila Jones lost her daughter. MeRa Ko’s father was in a horrible accident and lost his leg. Things like this make me think of just how blessed I am in every moment. I came home after learning this and hugged my daughter more tightly. I danced with my legs and really felt the amazing qualities of my body. I spent more time being present.
Next week I’ll begin regular blogging again with the real life wedding tips, photography tips, interviews with wedding vendors, loving out loud columns and more.
For now, I just want to share with you the slideshow I put together with some images from my week with Safe Homes for Children in Guatemala. Special thanks to Animoto for the year subscription they gifted to Safe Homes for Children. Animoto ROCKS. hands down.
