Hi Friends, It’s hard to believe that 2018 is long gone. We had a wonderful, crazy, stressful, successful year all rolled into one. You didn’t hear much from us on the blog last year because we were knee deep in our home renovation, wedding planning, honeymoon, caring for sick family, all while having our busiest season every.
In our personal world, 2018 was the year I lived without a kitchen or flooring for months while Andy renovated our 1980 home. Someone told us that if you can get through a kitchen remodel without killing each other, then you can get through ANYTHING… we’ve put our money on that! We also planned our own wedding in a short 3 months with the help of our amazing friends Nicole (@ivoryandcooper), and Gianna (@wildandlovelyevents). We learned first hand the excitement and stress that our couples go through as they plan their own big days. Our own wedding also deepened the way we approach wedding photography. We’ve always said that we document weddings the way we want OUR wedding to be documented, now we truly understand what that means.
Here’s a peek at some of our wedding and engagement highlights from 2018 (sorry this is a long one.) And if you scroll to the end, you’ll catch a few photos from our own wedding. Thank you to all our amazing couples who trusted us to capture the start of your legacy, and to all the family members those who celebrated with us during reveal parties at our home. It was an honor to be welcomed into your lives. Our hope is that your photos will grow in value every year for the rest of your lives. Cheers to what 2019 will bring!

Our FAVORITE first look of the year!!
Just in case you’re wondering- Andy doesn’t have ANY fun at weddings (hahah!!)
Disclaimer- We would normally never take a photo like this, but the bridesmaids insisted on picking up the groom…oops!! It turned out to be one of the funniest moments of the season.
