I have a TON of weddings to blog from 2015,  and I’m going to start off with the most colorful and romantic garden wedding at Harmony Ridge Lodge in Nevada City…

Their Story: Gwynessa and Todd

I don’t think I’ve ever met a couple more in love than Gwynessa and Todd…. so it was only fitting that the theme of their afternoon garden  wedding was “Romance Novel.” When she asked me to do a romance novel themed shoot for her engagement session, I was a bit apprehensive at first- but she went ALL OUT with her costumes, and it turned out to be both  amazing and a TON of fun (I’ll share those photos in another post).  She laced the grounds of her afternoon garden wedding with her engagement session photos including custom wine bottles with her “romance novel cover,” huge romance novel book covers and aristocratic touches throughout.

The Ceremony: Harmony Ridge Lodge

Keeping with the romance theme, their garden ceremony under the pergola included heartfelt vows, a intertwining henna tattoo where everyone in their bridal party created an interlacing henna design, and some beautiful guitar music from their good friend. Here’s a peek at their day!
