Snowy Engagement Session in Lake Tahoe

We’re so happy that we have snow this year in Tahoe National Forest!  We took our couple on a little snowy engagement session adventure up in Tahoe National Forest area last week.   As always, Andy had the proper  clothes on (he’s always prepared for any type of weather.)   Myself on the other hand… Not so much.  After falling  waist deep in not one, but two hidden snow holes, everyone had a good laugh at me, and  I finished out the session soaking wet from my waist down.  It took a day for my lenses to dry out, but I think it was totally worth it.

What I love about living in the Sierra Foothills, is that in one afternoon we can hit lush sunny areas, wide open meadows, and snow covered peaks.  We started out our engagement session at one of our favorite spots in Nevada City, then headed up Highway 20 to Tahoe National Forest, stopping along the way at gorgeous meadow  lined with snowy  peaks.  We’re so excited for Katie and Wallace’s wedding this summer at The Ridge, in Auburn CA.
