The Venue: PJ’s Bar and Grill

I always love working at new wedding venues, and this fall I had the chance to photograph a beautiful wedding at  PJ’s Bar and Grill in Truckee, CA. This is one of 4 beautiful wedding sites within the Tahoe Mountain Club.   Not only was the wedding coordinator amazing to work with, the site is absolutely stunning.  I’m so excited for my upcoming weddings here!

The Wedding:

I had so much fun with my beautiful couple Andrew and Laura and their wonderful family! Like most of my couples, they were outdoor lovers, and incorporated nature into their ceremony and reception.  Laura was absolutely stunning, and they were  so much fun to be around!  One of my favorite parts of their reception was the wedding pinata.. YES, it was  awesome!  They ordered bride and groom piñatas from a custom piñata maker in San Francisco.  After dinner, they both got blindfolded, turned around 3 times and took to them with a stick.  It was a very fun part of the evening, which had everyone in hysterical laughter.  I’m totally stealing that idea for my own wedding!  The evening was filled with joyous dancing, lawn games, a bonfire and of course s’mores.
